In this session Maggie works on feelings of anger towards her husband and the Lord, and the sense that a certain difficult client situation is more than she can bear. After identifying the target for the session, Maggie focuses on a memory of a past positive experience with Jesus, and through that positive memory she refreshes her perception of, and her connection with Jesus. She then engages directly with Jesus regarding her triggered thoughts and emotions, and He leads her to traumatic memories from her first labor and delivery, and helps her to resolve them. We then observe that the triggered negative thoughts and emotions no longer feel true about Maggie's client, her husband, and the Lord. Finally, Maggie reports at the 6-month follow-up interview that these positive changes have continued. This faith-building session illustrates the principles, techniques, and process described in our Immanuel Series presentations.
